About me
I’m Mel, a Holistic Personal Trainer, Nutritionist, Mindset + Business Coach.
In 2021 I suffered burnout while trying to keep multiple businesses running during Covid. I gained weight rapidly even though I was still eating “clean” + exercising daily. I was told by a Naturopath that given my age of 39, I should accept this as part of my hormonal change. Being the feisty little Capricorn I am, I refused to accept this as my reality so set out on a four-year journey to heal.
In this time I have spent in excess of $40k on alternative therapies, supplements + practitioners. After hitting an extremely low point last year, I decided to use my own intuition + knowledge to heal. I used carnivore + ketosis as a therapeutic tool to rapidly transform my body + mind. I got back to my pre-burnout weight, healed my gut, stopped sugar cravings + feel amazing, physically, mentally + emotionally. In the past few months I have transitioned back to clean nutrition while maintaining amazing lab results for all of my health markers. This has ensured that at 43 years old, I keep my body lean, my moods stable + my energy high. I’d love to help you do the same!

Movement.
Movement is essential for optimal mental health + increasing your metabolic rate, we incorporate functional training for toning, strengthening + sculpting your body. If you are not local to Broome in January, no worries at all, I program all sessions for you to do anywhere, anytime. All workouts will be posted to our private Facebook group here. A commitment to walking outdoors will improve mental health, reduce body fat + ensure you are getting adequate vitamin D from sunlight. You will also have access to the Evolve Co, Coaching Spotify playlist, made especially to facilitate emotional healing. Keeping a daily movement promise to yourself boosts self confidence + keeps motivation high.
Nourish.
You will be returning to foods that your body + mind will thrive on. I am going to educate you on the secret weapon to fat loss + toning. Nutrition options for the 30 day new year protocol are carnivore for gut healing, sugar or alcohol addiction + rapid results. Ketosis for improving mental health, internal inflammation + sugar/carb cravings. Clean for general health, fat loss + detoxification. I have supplement recommendations that will support rapid results, gut repair + minimise cravings.
Recover.
We now live in an overstimulated world, our bodies + minds are not designed for this era of notifications. Micro doses of stress has a negative effect on our overall wellbeing. We will use Infrared Saunas for relaxation + supporting detox pathways as you heal. Ice Baths to increase dopamine to combat low moods. Compression Massage to stimulate lymphatic system to move toxins out of your body more efficiently. If you aren’t in Broome, no worries we will substitute recovery practises for you to ensure we are supporting your body + detox pathways.
Breathe.
9D Breathwork is a combination of breathwork, hypnosis, vibrations, subliminal messages, sounds + frequencies designed to access the subconscious mind. It is designed to release trapped emotions, unlock stored trauma + rewire the brain to a more positive state of being. Over the years I have tried so many modalities for healing but nothing has helped my mind + body heal like 9D breathwork has. As soon as I came out of my very first journey I knew I had to share this with others. These sessions will be offered by Yoga Mel in Broome or by me via zoom to do in the comfort of your own home.
Education.
Education is imperative to set your up for long term health + happiness. I have designed the 30 day evolve new year wellness protocol to leverage rapid transformation of your mind, body + soul. I want you to take what you learn + use the principles of wellness to last a lifetime. This is why I have added NLP + Shadow Work Techniques to the Protocol. These mindset tools are guaranteed to take you to a whole new level of you in 2026. We will be digging deeper to get to the root cause of self sabotaging behaviours + habits.
